A hacker, known by the pseudonym ‘EvanConnect’, has created a device that can open the door of any vehicle that has a keyless entry system, keyless type, and has put it on sale for about 7,650 euros. This particular device is capable of emulating the signals of cars operating on frequencies between 22 and 40 khz. On the other hand, he claims to have another device for sale for about 10,200 euros with the ability to operate outside that signal band, making any vehicle of this type vulnerable. In a video he posted, he demonstrates that the device could open a parked Jeep and start it in a matter of seconds.
