Description | Honda was forced to cancel part of its production due to a ransomware attack on its computer network. Vitali Kremez, strategic advisor at cybersecurity firm SentinelOne, confirmed the attack but a spokesman for the brand refused to specify which of the production plants had been affected by the attack, ransomware and specifically the ‘Snake’ type. In 2017, Honda already suffered another cyberattack that also stopped production at a plant in Japan. | |
