Description | Coinciding with the weekend of the Austria Formula 1 Grand Prix, anonymous crackers manage to access the control of the championship official mobile application. This free app allows the user to follow the latest news from the championship, as well as track training, classifications and races in real-time. After gaining access, crackers sent two alert messages as a ‘claim’, warning Formula One Management that they should review their cybersecurity. Apparently, no personal data from users was compromised. | |
