Description | For Mazda 3, due to improper powertrain control module software, the automatic idle restart may fail when the engine is restarted after an inactive stop-start-stop-causing it to lock up and increasing the risk of an accident. Also, in the case of the Mazda 3 and CX-30, due to improper software, the powertrain control module may incorrectly judge the half-clutch condition as a disengaged clutch condition and reduce engine torque to reduce engine speed to the idle condition. This can cause the engine to stall, which increases the risk of an accident. | |
