The Nuuk Cargopro electric motorcycle has passed the EUROCYBCAR test and is the first vehicle ever to receive the “cyber-safe” seal. The EUROCYBCAR test checks whether the vehicle in question meets the requirements of UNECE / R155. This regulation currently does not include motorcycles. According to the UNECE, they are not sufficiently networked. Cyber-secure motorcycles could still have many advantages for users, because vehicles in classes L1, L3 and L4 can also be networked – even if it is only networked with a single smartphone. Unauthorized access to the vehicle and personal data could easily be obtained by hackers.
